Seminary Alumni Reunion
St. Joseph’s Preparatory Seminary Alumni Association has finalized the date of the reunion of the former students of St. Joseph’s Preparatory Seminary – October 5, 2013 at the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal in Germantown, Philadelphia, PA.
There will be several computer kiosks set up to receive both “real-time” and pre-recorded greetings from alumni, former faculty and confreres unable to attend. If you are unable to attend and would like to send an electronic greeting you will receive further information and details before October 5. One of our seminarians – Danny Rivera, CM. presented a workshop on Archbishop Oscar Romero to the students and guests He sees in Archbishop Romero an example of the Vincentian charism of love and service of the poor. He presented Archbishop Romero as an example of effective pastoral work for the promotion of the Gospel among the marginalized.

New Chaplain To St. Catherine’s Infirmary

I am most happy to announce that Fr. Bob Stone, CM has agreed to serve as Chaplain at St. Catherine’s infirmary. Bob will have his residence in the infirmary and therefore be very available to the confreres.
I also want to thank Fr. Walter Menig, CM who has completed his service as Chaplain to the infirmary. Walter has served generously and with distinction.
