Catholic Sisters from across the country, along with their friends and families are coming to Rockaway for Nun’s Build to rebuild the homes and lives of Sandy survivors.
On-site skilled site supervisors will teach volunteers how to install insulation, drywall and trim on multiple houses over the course of five days. Sisters of all skill levels are encouraged to participate.
There are more than 200 families still on our waiting list. The people of Rockaway need your help. Volunteer for one day, or volunteer for all! We are also asking you to help us spread the word that Rockaway still needs your help. We’re looking for those of you who will commit to donating or raising $500 for SBP’s rebuilding fund. Groups that raise $500 or more will recieve a Nun’s Build T-shirt.
