Fr. Joe Cummins wrote on Facebook.. “Yesterday, after more than 125 years, the Vincentian Fathers left the building at 75 Lewis Ave. The parish offices are now located in what was the main sacristy of the church, and some of the upstairs space. Our new address is 333 Hart St., Brooklyn 11206”

So sorry to see this historic place with all it’s memories close. It was a challenging environment but the people made it all worth while.
Dear Vincentian Family: How poignant to receive this “Notice of Farewell” on this Holy Day of Our Blessed Mother’s Annunciation. With Mary’s “Yes” everything changed! With your Vincentian “Yes” everything changed. Truly, the Holy Spirit has been inspiring the community (neighborhood also) and bringing/sharing, the light of Christ to all. My late husband, Edmund, Fr. Vincent Trunk’s brother, and our family fondly recall (still do) memories of special people we were blessed to know along the journey. It would take many pages to share them all. The Holy Spirit has been inspiring the community (neighborhood also) to share the light of Christ. Truly, all have been blessed by your caring ministry. Please, no “farewells”, just, “Vaya con Dios”and that we may all meet again at a Vincentian Family Day gathering. With love, prayers and gratitude, Florence Trunk (and all our family) Please keep in touch, e-mail above
