SJU President Named to List of “People to Watch in Higher Education” by Crain’s New York Business
Conrado “Bobby” Gempesaw, Ph.D., President of St. John’s University has been named by Crain’s New York Business to its list of “People to Watch in Higher Education.” The list includes presidents and other senior administrators who are successfully leading their New York based institutions during a time of unprecedented change in the higher education landscape.
In the article appearing in the September 22, 2014 issue of Crain’s, Dr. Gempesaw addresses several topics including ensuring the success of all St. John’s students, enrollment, and the need to incorporate advanced technology in education, saying “The question for us at St. John’s is how to keep pace with technological innovation and adopt new methods that advance learning.”
