Check out this video biography of Brother Alfred Smith made by St. John's University. Last night, Brother Al was awarded St. John's prestigious Spirit of Service Award for his many decades of service to the Germantown community. Thank you Br. Al for all you have done and continue to do to serve those in need!

    Thanks Father Freund for this and for your many updates. It was a blessing sharing Vincentian life with Brother Al and with all of you. Actually,I had only about 8- 9 months with Brother Al at Saint Vincent De Paul Novitiate,but his life inspired me then and your commemoration inspires me now.
