Fr India & the Vincentians were our parish priests at Holy Rosary (Italian) Parish, Germantown, Phila. He was an exemplary priest, a gentle confessor and more open than other priests at the time and welcoming the changes during/after Vatican II. He knew each of us kids in our parish so well, that he would call us by our parent’s first names. He was always a kidder. He was the bedrock of our parish life. Today’s clergy could only hope to aspire to his pastoral solicitude. A gentle son of Vincent de Paul.
