During this 200th anniversary of Blessed Fredric Ozanam, founder of the Vincent dePaul Society, some might find it interesting to read his biography “A Layman for Now”. It was written by Shaun McCarty, a member of the community founded by Father Thomas Judge of the Eastern Province. Fr. Judge was way ahead of his times and a pioneer in what used to be called the “lay apostolate”.
