Pam Shea Byrnes, the Vice President of Campus Ministry at St. John’s University, Queens, NY, and former member of the Vincentian Service Corps, died this morning, December 24th, from complications of the flu.
Prayers are requested for Pam, her husband Jeff and their two children. She and Jeff had recently celebrated their 25th anniversary.

Pamela…my heart is heavy and so sad to hear that you have left us…I want your husband Jeff, your children and the SJU family to know that you were so kind hearted and unselfish with your time you gave to me and other students while at SJU…Through your mission to help others in need you made it our mission to do so as well…As a Christian, I believe God needed you sooner than later…Thank you for being such a great inspirational person, always happy, always helpful, and now…always missed….SJU will not be the same without you….Love Dakota 99’SVC
