Students from Niagara University and St. John’s University traveled to the Capitol in Albany on Tuesday, Feb. 13, to participate in the New York Student Aid Alliance Advocacy Day, an annual initiative coordinated by the Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities.
The students spoke with New York lawmakers about the importance of universal access to state-sponsored financial aid. The two Vincentian universities met following lunch for a group photo and to discuss their visits with elected officials.
